After taking my pink roller out.
So I decided to start a blog about the many styles of my hair. I am challenging myself to do a new hair style each week of 2011 and post it. 52 weeks is pretty ambitious but I'm going to do it. Please let me know your thoughts by commenting on my posts. Thanks!!!

Week 9 of 52.....
I decided to put tiny individual braids in my hair. The great thing about this style is that it will last me at least 3 weeks. It took me almost 3 hours to complete my hair. Let me know what you think.

Week 8 of 52.....
This will probably be one of the easiest styles of this blog. So I decided to rock one of my knitted hats during this winter coldness. The reason it works so well is because I still have in my cornrows from last week to give it a little more than just me putting on a hat. I tilted it to the side for more impact and I received so many compliments. Easy do! Let me know what you think about it.

Week 7 of 52.....
Here I am having my sister Jackie to help me out with week 7. She is putting about 5 braids on each side of my head. Then she two strand twists the rest to give a crinkled look. I had fun wearing this style!

Pulling out the twists

Week 6 of 52.....
I rock rough and stuff with my afro puff...!
Here I am at week 6 and in honor of Black History Month I thought I'd take it back to the 70's. Today I am doing a simply Afro Puff style. First I washed and blow dried my hair. Then I put my hair up using a piece of stretchy fabric. I love how easy this style is.

Week 5 of 52.....
This is an easy style. I just twisted my hair as I did in week one. This time I did not continue on to make the Bantu Knots. I simply took two or three twist and rolled them up. Once they were all rolled up I slept on it and took them out the next morning. Let me know what you think!!! Would you wear this style?
Simple Twist or Palm Roll
Removing Rollers
I can't believe that I am showing the world me and my curlers...
